Jeffrey Epstein was a wealthy American investor and convicted sex offender. Utilizing high-level connections built with influential people, he was involved in the sexual abuse and trafficking of teenage girls. In 2019, he was arrested on federal sex trafficking charges in the United States. However, before the judicial process could begin, his hanging body was recovered from a New York jail. Epstein’s death sparked widespread global debate and various conspiracy theories about whether it was suicide or homicide. Later, the US Department of Justice officially stated that Epstein committed suicide.
In 2026, under the ‘Epstein Files Transparency Act’, the US Department of Justice released nearly 3.5 million pages of documents, over two thousand videos, and nearly one hundred eighty thousand photos. This massive collection of data and information related to Epstein is generally referred to as the ‘Epstein Files’.
In this context, a photo has been circulated on social media claiming that a picture of US President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton sleeping in the same bed has been found in the Epstein files. In the circulated photo, Donald Trump and Bill Clinton are seen sleeping while hugging each other.

Fact Check
The Rumor Scanner team’s investigation reveals that the claim of finding a photo of US President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton sleeping in the same bed in the discussed Epstein files is not correct. In reality, the photo circulated with the discussed claim has been created using AI or Artificial Intelligence technology.
Investigating the photo circulated with the discussed claim, no information regarding finding such a photo in the Epstein files released by the US Department of Justice was found in the media or any other reliable source.
However, a clearer and longer version of the same photo was seen being circulated on an X (formerly Twitter) account named Capes. Reviewing the obtained photo, AI-related inconsistencies were observed. In the photo, the outline of Trump’s leg was visible over the comforter on the bed, and Bill Clinton’s side appeared unnaturally flat.

Therefore, to verify whether the circulated photo was created with the help of AI technology, Rumor Scanner used Google’s special identification technology ‘SynthID’. This Google technology adds invisible watermarks to images, videos, or audio created with AI, which cannot be seen with the naked eye but can be detected through Google’s own tools. Analyzing the photo with SynthID, it was found that it was created with the help of Google’s AI technology.
Additionally, testing the photo on another AI content detection platform, Hive Detect, also revealed that the photo was created using AI or Artificial Intelligence technology.
Therefore, the claim of finding a photo of Donald Trump and Bill Clinton sleeping in the same bed in the Epstein files is false, and the photo circulated with the said claim is AI-generated.
