Recently, a video has circulated on the internet with the claim that a bus carrying Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims overturned. An image depicting the same scene has also been widely shared.

Rumor Scanner’s investigation reveals that the video and image circulated with the claim of a bus carrying Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims overturning are not real; rather, artificial intelligence (AI) generated media is being circulated with this claim.
At the beginning of the investigation, a relevant keyword search yielded no information from media outlets or reliable sources to support the claim that Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims were involved in a bus accident. Furthermore, no information supporting the claim was found on the Facebook page or website of the Bangladesh Ministry of Religious Affairs, nor on the Facebook page of the Minister of Religious Affairs.
Subsequently, verification using multiple AI detectors revealed that the probability of the video and image in question being AI-generated is almost 100 percent.

Therefore, both the video and the image circulated with the claim that a bus carrying Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims overturned are AI-generated.
