Fact-check

The Rumor Scanner team’s investigation reveals that the circulated video is not a real incident of a donkey entering the Pakistan Parliament. Rather, a fake video created with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has been circulated with the viral claim.

An investigation into the source of the discussed video found the probable original video circulated with the viral claim on a TikTok account with the username ‘@arabianspeed1’ on December 4. The post includes a label indicating that the discussed video was created with AI. Additionally, observing the circulated video reveals various abnormalities, such as a person being seen sitting without a chair in one scene, and the abnormal presence of people, etc. Such abnormalities are typically seen in AI-generated content.

Observing this TikTok account reveals multiple other AI videos where animals like donkeys and horses are seen running around in parliament-like structures.

To confirm this further, the discussed video was analyzed on the AI and deepfake content detection platform ‘DeepFake-O-Meter,’ which showed a high probability of it being fake. According to the analysis of the platform’s ‘AVSRDD’ detector, there is a 100 percent probability that the video is fake or AI-generated. Furthermore, analysis of the discussed video on another AI content detection platform, ‘Hive Moderation,’ found a 99.6 percent probability of it being AI-generated content.

Moreover, no evidence supporting the authenticity of the discussed incident was found in mainstream Pakistani media or reliable sources.

This confirms that the circulated video was fundamentally created using AI or artificial intelligence technology.

Therefore, an AI-generated video has been circulated with the claim that it is a real incident of a donkey entering the Pakistan Parliament; which is false.
